Maori language in room 5

This term our goal is to learn Maori phrases and greetings that we can use in everyday life.
So far We have learnt:
If Mr George comes in then we can say, "Tena koe Mr. George".
Or/ if a guest comes in then we say,"E nge rangatira". Which means greetings to all
Or we're pleased that your here
Ka nui te hari Kia tae mai koutou ki kone
Or in trouble
Aroha Mai!! (Sorry)

Room 5's fish

In room five we have three fish and they are all orange goldfish. They are all heathy and everyone loves them.

       In christian living we have been learning about courageous                christians such as : Rosa parks, martin luther king junior, corrie        ten boom and hedi baker. My favorite is hedi baker and we              have been watching her testamony and other videos. I think she                                    is very courageous and brave.

in room 5s writing were learning about Daniel and the lions den  and writing about it. ITS SO AWESOME!!!!!!!

mini giants basket ball team

on Friday the mini giants won the basket ball game for the very first time the score was 32 28 to us it was so fun!!!

Courage

At our school we are learning about courage. When ever we see someone scared we give them courage and if we see someone worried we give them courage and lots more. Our school is made with courage.
