Dear School Community

Just to clarify Room 4, 5 & 6 parent interviews are on tomorrow from 1:30pm.

Lunch is 12:40 to 1:30pm   students can go home at 12:40pm or 1:30pm. If you are unable to pick up or arrange for someone to collect your child a teacher aide will be available to supervise your child.

Buses and vans will run at usual time.

Genesis 1:2

Matthew 14:29

“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

We made a connection today between the Spirit of God hovering over the waters in Genesis and Jesus walking on the water.

Water seems to symbolise 'new beginnings'.

I wonder if there is a connection between water symbolising new beginnings in the Bible and the water cycle?

Reading: extra time

They asked for extra time to WORK on reading today! 

Students are certainly making some great connections between what they know and what the are reading in the text.

Inquiry: Joining the dots.

Now we have found many bible verses about water. We have also been researching technical water cycle vocabulary. Now it's time to start looking for connections between the bible verses and the water cycle....
