Genesis 1:2
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
“Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
We made a connection today between the Spirit of God hovering over the waters in Genesis and Jesus walking on the water.
Water seems to symbolise 'new beginnings'.
I wonder if there is a connection between water symbolising new beginnings in the Bible and the water cycle?
