This week, room five is making rainbow jellies. We are doing it for measurement, and we are having a lot of fun. We put two layers on today and we will put the last one on tomorrow. We are learning to use half cups, quarter cups and whole cups. We are also learning to work out the volume of 3D objects. We are having a lot of fun!!!!!!!!!!

Room 5 News Take one!!!

Room 5 is a part of flick-It-On film challenge for 2012! Flick-It-On is a collaborative film making project. Where we will work with other schools to create movies based around a single concept. This year the concept is pushing the boundaries. SO watch this space!!! 

Swimming Sports at Nayland pool!

The other day NCA did swimming sports. I had to watch because I had a cold and if I went swimming I would miss out on the Weet-Bix triathlon. I saw some amazing swimming! I felt excited seeing people win their races! I saw backstroke. freestyle, flutter board, butterfly and people diving off the diving boards. My cousin Jonny was with me some of the time. I bought an activity pack that had games in it to play while I watched the swimming sports. Later we went back to school everyone was really tired. We wrote in our homework and then went home.
