School trip

On Wednesday we went to Fashion Island. We learnt about NZ Sign Langauge. We did a contest about using NZ sign lanuage and Keely won! The butterflies on peoples faces represent NZ Sign langauge. The reason they use this butterfly sign is because butterflies are deaf and are special and beautiful. We think everyone should learn NZ Sign langauge . By Keely and Elli

Carer's Expo

This term the yr 7 and 8's went to a Career Expo.In my group it was me : Jas d, Brianna,Rangi and Jade. The first thing we did was we went to this place inside Trafalgar Center and first we had to hold our hands up as high as we could without tippy toeing and then we jumped up as high as we could and when we jumped up we hit these little did-dad around.Brianna got 40cm ,I got 34cm and Jade got 30cm and Rangi didn't do it.Then me and miss Hollis went to the Victoria university stall and asked some questions.While Brianna and Jade held a big gun. Then me,jade ,Rangi and Brianna went to9 the hairdressing stall and we got cool hairdo's.Then we had to line up again by the buses oh and Rangi got a massive mohawk,The End. By Jazz D

On thursday 25th of november some principals and teachers came to NCA and looked around the classrooms.Shannon and Brianna mucked up trying to get on the class blog talk about funny so a guy helped us get onto the class blog.ha ha ha!!!

Mask Parade

The mask parade was a blast event the theme was animals on the move.There were pigs,dinosaurs and a black panther etc all masks were outstanding,vibrant and good looking there was one very spotty giraffe. Making the masks took a lot of hard work.But it was all worth while to see all those outstanding masks from our class and whole school.Brianna:],Lincoln,Ashley,Lily and Fynn.By Shannon :] and Ashley!
