Inquiry Time!

This weeks opening inquiry (God is Generous - What is so amazing about God's design of animals?), led to Abi asking, "If God made all of these amazing animals, who made God?"
The class answered, "God is eternal, he was always there and always will be".

With people away and a netball tournament, we were all able to fit inside our one metre square of carpet that we use to visualize area in Maths.

Expressive writing: Crazy Ice-Cream

Students writing and drawing their wacky flavoured ice creams after viewing gelato displays: Eyeball ice cream, Volcano ice cream, Shark Delight, Donut Dream, Paper Cut ice cream, Stationery ice cream. Frog Slime, Petrol Wonder, Hot Dog ice cream, Minion Montage, Toe Nail Clipping ice cream.

Worship Grows Wings


Worship is 'growing wings' and taking flight in Room 6. We talked about becoming 'thermostats' that 'set the temperature' during praise and worship time, rather than being 'thermometers' that 'check the temperature' before joining in on praise and worship.

Off to a flying start

Well that was a super-fast three days of school. From the Powhiri to our first afternoon swim, there has been plenty to do.
Students have their books and stationery named and books have been sent home to be covered this weekend.  Please return ALL books on Monday.
