Jesus Revealed

Esther 4:7 Mordecai reveals the plot of Haman to destroy the Jewish people.

Start with the third letter. Count every eighth letter. Turn the word around: Yeshua. The Hebrew name for Jesus.

Remember that Esther was written hundreds of years BEFORE the birth of Jesus Christ!

Remember also that Esther means 'something hidden'!

Esther revealed.

Esther 5:4 is a verse where Esther is taking charge of a situation. 

We wrote the Hebrew version today and and then took the first letter of each Hebrew word and placed them together.

From right to left that word spells YHVH or YHWH.

We know that word as Yahweh (actually more correctly pronounced as Yeh-ho-VAH), the Tetragrammaton that is 'God' in Hebrew.

It was fun decoding the Hebrew text today and revealing our first 'hidden' Hebrew word. 

Fitness: Team work

Team work is beginning to shine through in the class. This is the best result of chain tag completed so far this year.

Our new map is going to used for displaying current weekly events.

Three students a week will have the opportunity to post global news on the map.
