The blessing of the fishers!
The blessing of the fishers!
Last Saturday was the blessing of the fleet there were yummy NZ style fish and chips, drinks, music and the throwing of the flowers.
The blessing of the fleet is for the people lost at sea, for all the family's to say goodbye and remember them
it was all organised by Mike smith.
on Friday Before the blessing of the fleet there is always (well sometimes) fireworks...........

At our school Nelson Christian Academy we always sing at the blessing of the fleet well at least some of us.We all have lots of fun and we sometimes get to see someone get rescued like this year a helicopter flew down and rescued a guy it was so cool. Dannielle got to throw the flowers in the water and she goes to our school. God is with us
